Genetics of eating patterns

Revision as of 15:13, 19 February 2013 by Diana (talk | contribs)

Background: Little is known currently on genetic determinants of human diet, taste sensitivity, food preferences.

Goal: The goal of this project is to analyse food questionnaire data of the Cohorte Lausannois (CoLaus) Study and associate dietary patterns with genotypes.

Mathematical tools: Statistics. The students will learn how to use Matlab to read in large data sets including genetic data; conduct linear and logistic regression and interaction analysis.
