Background
Roger Mallol Parera is a junior researcher at the CBG since September, 2015. He has a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (2014), completed a Postgraduate Course in Biostatistics at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (2012), a Master Degree in Electronics at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (2009), and graduated in Computer Engineering at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2008). Roger Mallol Parera is a member of the founding team and the Board of Directors at Biosfer Teslab, where he has worked as a CEO (2014-2015). In addition, he has worked as a researcher at the Pere Virgili Institute for Health Research (2012-2013), had a doctoral stay at the University of Manchester (2011) and worked at the multinational Lionbridge during his Erasmus stay in Finland (2007-2008).
