Obtain data

FORS makes available to the national and international scientifique community all of its data, free of charge. Data can be accessed and explored through a number of channels:

Data catalogue

The complete collection of available data, presenting the principal characteristics of each dataset. The data catalogue can be searched in two different ways:

1) Full text search using key words and/or selection criteria

2) Search with the help of an index of research domains

Order data

In order to facilitate the ordering process, please indicate the exact classification number and title of the datasets (for example: 1994AC, Attitudes et comportements politiques en Suisse - 1972), as well as your contact information, that is, your name, e-mail, and professional address or private address (for students and other situations)

Nesstar Server

A series of datasets to consult freely (ESS, ISSP, Eurobaromètre, MosaïCH, SELECTS, VoxIt). A simple registration allows access to online analytic functionalities and downloading of datasets.

Special projects

POW, SELECTS, PISA, TREE, VOX, VOXIT

Although described in the catalogue, these projects call for more detailed information, which is provided within the frame of specific pages, including access to the data.

POW (People on War) For the 50th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions, the International Red Cross Committee led from 1998 to 1999 an international survey on the experiences of war in 12 regional conflicts; for detailed description of the project, access conditions, and order form, click
