We invite all researchers and research institutions to report planned, current or recently completed research or evaluation projects.
From now on, the capture of new project descriptions and the update of already published projects will be be handled by our newly developed application FORSbase.
Currently we are running a pilot phase until mid of July 2013. If you wish to take part, please contact Stefan Buerli.
Please follow the link to discover FORSbase.
Which projects are included?
Planned, current, or completed research projects of theoretical as well as empirical orientation from all areas of the social sciences, as well as projects from other fields as long as they treat a social scientific aspect. Included also are doctoral and postdoctoral theses, however no seminar or diploma papers.
Registration period
The current registration period started on November 16, 2012 and has its closing date on December 21, 2012. But it is also possible to send new projects or updates of existing descriptions to FORS all year long.
To avoid multiple questionnaires
FORS is co-operating with several institutions, which are also recording research projects, with the aim to exchange relevant research information. Project descriptions that have been reported to the following institutions do not have to be transmitted to FORS: Thus, researchers have to fill in only one questionnaire, instead of several ones.
