Projektbeschreibung
PISA ist eine Erhebung, die alle drei Jahre (seit dem Jahr 2000) unter den 15-jährigen Jugendlichen in den meisten Mitgliedstaaten der OECD und in weiteren Partnerländern durchgeführt wird. Sie erfasst das für den Alltag notwendige Wissen und Können am Ende der obligatorischen Schulzeit.
Die Schweiz hat die Möglichkeit ergriffen, sowohl die Population der 15-jährigen (internationale Stichprobe) als auch zusätzlich jene der Neuntklässler/innen (nationale Stichprobe) zu untersuchen. Die Stichprobe der Neuntklässler/innen erlaubt es, Vergleiche innerhalb des Landes zwischen den Sprachregionen und, dank der kantonalen Zusatzstichproben, auch zwischen den Kantonen durchzuführen.
Bei jedem Zyklus werden die drei Bereiche Lesen, Mathematik und Naturwissenschaften getestet, wobei ein Bereich vertieft untersucht wird. Im Jahr 2000 bildete Lesen den Schwerpunkt der Erhebung, 2003 Mathematik und 2006 Naturwissenschaften. Im Jahr 2009 wurde erneut das Lesen vertieft untersucht. Für das Jahr 2003 wurde zusätzlich das Thema Problemlösen erhoben.
Datenzugang
Die Schweizer PISA-Daten (Neuntklässler-innen) 2000, 2003, 2006 und 2009 zusammen mit der entsprechenden Dokumentation werden den Forschenden von FORS zur Verfügung gestellt. Untenstehend befindet sich eine Liste der verfügbaren Datensätze. Um auf die Daten zugreifen zu können, füllen Sie bitte dieses Formular aus (inklusive einer kurzen Beschreibung ihres Projekts) und schicken Sie es uns im PDF-Format per E-Mail dataservice@fors.unil.ch.

PISA - Program for International Student Assessment
Project description
The international survey PISA is carried out every three years (since 2000) with 15 year olds in most of the member countries of the OECD and in numerous partner countries. It evaluates the acquisition of knowledge and essential know-how for daily life at the end of the period of obligatory education.
Switzerland chose the option of studing the population of students in the 9th year of education (national sample) as well as 15 year old students (international sample). The sample of 9th year students allows comparisons within the country between linguistic regions and, thanks to supplementary cantonal samples, between the cantons.
The three tested domains are reading, mathematics, and the sciences, with one of these the focus for each cycle. In 2000, main subject was reading, in 2003 it was mathematics, and in 2006 the sciences. In 2009, the main subject was again reading. For PISA 2003, an additional theme was developed, that of problem solving ability.
Data access
The Swiss PISA data (9th grade) for 2000, 2003, 2006, and 2009, and the corresponding documentation are available from FORS for interested researchers. The exhibit below provides the list of available datasets for each cycle.
