Forms
Registrationform for Flow Cytometric Cell Sorting
This form has to be completed with as much information as possible about an upcomming cell sorting experiment. It needs to be submitted at least 48 hours prior the sort appointment!

Request for registration to the FCF-FlowJo Site License
Please complete this form if you wish to register you Computer for using FlowJo software under the Terms and Conditions of the FCF FlowJo Site License.

Request for use of shared Flow Cytometry Instrumentation
Please complete this form if you wish to get access to the analytical flow cytometers provided by the FCF and/or wish to apply for flow cytometry training. Flow Cytometry training is obligatory for using the flow cytometers. Please only request access to the cytometers you really need to use for your "near future" experiments.
Informative Documents
Sample Preparation for Cell Sorting
This document summarizes some information about sample preparation for fluorescent activated cell sorting and provides additional information about necessary controls, cell concentration and sorting speeds. Please read this if you haven't used the cell sorting service of the FCF before!

Statement of the Swiss Expert Committtee for Biosafety on the classification of work with genetically modified viral vectors, 2009
This recommendation discusses the classification of work with a num-ber of commonly used viral vectors. Also for other viral vectors a similar risk assessment should be performed.
Recommendation of the Swiss Expert Committtee for Biosafety on the treatment and disposal of waste produced in contained systems, 2009
In this Recommendation, the Swiss Expert Committtee for Biosafety puts into concrete terms the statutory requirements for the inactivation and disposal of such waste, to simplify practice and to harmonise enforcement. This concretisation is based on the state of knowledge, technology and international best practice.
Recommendation of the Swiss Expert Committtee for Biosafety on the safe handling of human and animal cells and cell cultures, 2011
This SECB Recommendation is intended to support users in the assessment of risks for the safe handling of human and animal cells and cell cultures in contained systems. It is based on the provisions of the Ordinance on the Contained Use of Organisms and the Ordinance on Occupational Safety in Biotechnology (OOSB).
Recommendation of the Swiss Expert Committtee for Biosafety on the risk assessment of activities using oncogenic and cytokine-encoding sequences, 2011
Animal experiments with oncogenic or cytokine-encoding nucleic acid sequences were shown to trigger unexpected processes. This recommendation issued by the Swiss Expert Committee for Biosafety should provide guidance on the classification of work with these sequences and the application of adequate safety measures.
