The Félix Vallotton Foundation is the centre for documentation, research and expertise on the life and work of the Franco-Swiss painter, engraver, illustrator and writer Félix Vallotton (Lausanne 1865-Paris 1925). The Foundation is preparing the publication of the Catalogue raisonné of Félix Vallotton's painted work. This project which is approaching completion is being carried out in collaboration with the Swiss Institute for Art Research (SIAR). The Foundation preserves, manages and whenever possible expands the Félix Vallotton archives in order to contribute to a better knowledge of the artist's work and personality. The Foundation assists in the organisation of exhibitions and remains at the disposal of scholars for any information and illustrations they may need. The Foundation is financed by various donors: foundations, companies, as well as private individuals.
