Hannes is a computer scientist working on a HP2C project that aims at porting codeML software onto supercomputers. Our aim is to rethink the algorithm behind the branch-site model of codon evolution to obtain a version that is scalable and faster than the current version. This project is a joint collaboration between our group, Marc Robinson-Réchavi and Heinz Stockinger from the SIB.
