Computational Phylogenetics

Asheesh did a postdoc in my lab in 2010. His project was funded by a joint Indo-Swiss Internattional Program. He looked at positive selection events with the chloroplast genomes of Poaceae using bioinformatic tools.

Dorothea's project was funded by a Marie Curie ERTN and aimed at assessing the relevance of phylogenetic diversity measures in different groups of organisms from South Africa. She's now a technical advisor for the UNESCO in Indonesia.

Nils' was a research assistant in our lab and worked on developping a phylogenetically-centered database for the grass family. It will be linked with GrassPortal currently developped by Colin Osborne in Sheffield University.

Pascal-Antoine did his PhD between Guillaume Besnard's and my group on C4 grass evolution (2005-2009). He's now a postodoctoral fellow in Erika Edwards' lab in Brown University on a Marie Curie Fellowship.
