The file fstatdis.exe is a self extractable zipped file.

The file promode.exe is a self extractable zipped file containing
files required to run fstat in protected mode. 

To operate the program, create a directory for the program (eg fstat), 
put the two self-extractable files there, extract them by typing their 
name. you are ready to run FSTAT, either in dos mode (command fstat) 
or in protected mode (command fstatp). 

Details on how to operate the program are in the file readme.txt, 
or readme.doc if you can read word for windows file.
