Drachme, ca. 245-196 v.Chr.
Kopf der Nymphe Chalkis mit eingerolltem Haar, einteiligem Ohranhänger und Halskette rechts.
Rs: Adler mit ausgebreiteten Schwingen rechts, im Schnabel und mit beiden Fängen eine Schlange haltend, die sich um den Körper des Raubvogels windet; im Feld rechts Ast eines Weinstockes mit Traube.
Picard Emission 42 (Vs. 1/Rs. a). 3,35 g. St. 6.
Äußerst selten.

Initially believed to be a forgery by the cataloguers of SNG Fitzwilliam, this grapes symbol drachm was known to Picard only by five examples, one of which was mounted in a pendant. A coin of great rarity and the last of the Chalkis drachms.
