No.: 220 Bronze, ca. 245-196 v.Chr. Although the bucranium symbol Margaret Thompson saw in the drachm issue was probably a flower (see Agrinion hoard, p.8, no. 59), the bucranium on this bronze issue is indisputable. The symbol on Picard's émission 48 should therefore be "bucrane" and not "rose". For the same reason, the symbol on the next coin is also taken to be a bucranium, although quite different in size, engraving details and position.
