Tetradrachmon, um 180 v.Chr.
Verschleierter Kopf der Hera mit Stephane, dreiteiligem Ohranhänger und Halskette rechts.
Rs: XAΛΚΙ / ΔΕΩΝ. Hera in Quadriga im Schritt nach rechts fahrend, mit beiden Händen die Zügel und in der Rechten zudem ein Szepter haltend; im Feld links dahinter M und M, im Feld rechts davor S; das Ganze in Eichenkranz mit Eicheln und Blättern.

Äußerst seltene, unpublizierte Variante.

The only Hellenistic tetradrachm of this city in private hands. The other 4 known are in Oxford, Paris, New York and London. An unpublished variety, these reverse letters not in Picard. Late Hellenistic die engraving at its magnificent best.
