Toby Johnson did a 2 year post-doc in the Computational Biology Group (May 2007 to May 2009). He worked mostly on genome wide association studies, using CoLaus data to identify novel genetic factors influencing cardiovascular and metabolic phenotypes, including cholesterol levels, height, body mass index, kidney and liver function, fasting glucose, blood pressure, and uric acid levels.

In May 2009 Toby moved to the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the William Harvey Research Institute.
