I am heading a group interested in neuroenergetics, i.e. the regulation of brain energy metabolism and its implications for energy homeostasis of the organism. Our work makes use of both experimental and theoretical (modeling) approaches to solve questions related to energy substrate transport and utilization in different cell types.
