John Ellis, professeur en media studies à l’Université Royal Holloway de Londres et Dr. Nick Hall, spécialiste des Film Studies, ont co-dirigé l’ouvrage collectif « Hands on Media History: A New Methodology in the Humanities and Social Sciences » publié en octobre 2019 aux éditions CRC Press. Cette collection d’essais développe la réflexion lancée par le projet ADAPT qui visait à étudier les techniques et pratiques de la production télévisuelle en Grande-Bretagne avant l’avènement du numérique.
